Rushdown is coming out of retirement to the tune of the Rocky IV Montage Theme ( Or maybe War… ) to bring you Battle In The Burgh!
We’ll be in the basement of the Canon’s Gait bar in the city’s old town, running tournaments for the two hot games of the moment; Street Fighter V and Dragon Ball Fighter Z.
32 entry cap for each game £5 game entry – 60/30/10 prize pot split £2 venue entry Payment will be taken on the day
Canon’s Gait serves food and drinks, absolutely nothing from outside the venue may be consumed on the premises.
It’s a bring your own controller gig. Not having a controller on you is not a legitimate reason to hold up a match, and will result in forfeiting the match if you aren’t able to play because of this.
Dualshock 4’s will be allowed, but must be desynced by players afterwards, and the utmost care must be taken not to interfere with setups you were previously connected to.
Sign ups taken from 2pm until 15 minutes before game start.
Street Fighter V begins at 3pm.
Dragon Ball Fighter Z begins at 4pm.
SFV: Best 2 out of 3 sets. Best 3 out of 5 sets for Winners, Losers and Grand Finals. All characters allowed. Winner of a set is character locked, loser may change character. The following stages are banned: Kanzuki Beach, Skies of Honor, and Flamenco Tavern Legacy controllers are banned due to being difficult to work
